We invite you to join other leaders from churches across Richmond to learn and apply asset-based community development principles to existing local missions and outreach in our region’s under-resourced neighborhoods. Through these 7 weekly sessions, you will learn about innovative Christian responses to poverty and practice them in community with others, “shifting” your approach to develop more focused, effective and sustainable community ministries. We hope you will join us to better understand the systems at work in your communities and to clearly identify you and your church’s unique role in the process of transformation for the common good.
