In 2006, Embrace distributed over 100 home starter packages, recorded more than 600 volunteer hours served on Blessing teams, collected more than $50,000 worth of furniture through Welcome Home Projects and provided employment assistance and mentoring to dozens of families in transition. Through these services Embrace is able to prevent families from experiencing future episodes of homelessness and to break the cycle of poverty.
